After 24 years of dedicated service at the IRS Maryland contract, PSO Amos Adetobi-Folawiyo will retire on April 30th, closing a chapter defined by integrity and leadership.

Throughout his time on the contract, Officer Amos built a reputation as someone his team could rely on without question. He showed up every day with the same steady commitment, earning the respect of those around him through his actions. As colleague Abimbola Raymond shared, “If he says he’s coming, he’s coming. He’s a man of his word. A man of real integrity.”

For PSO Amos, the role was never just a job. “Anything I do, I put all my effort into it,” he said. “Being here, I look at it as an opportunity that God gave to me to serve. I’m not taking it for granted.” That sense of purpose shaped how he approached his work every day.

Over the years, he has also served as a pastor in his local church, balancing his professional responsibilities with a deep commitment to faith and service. As he steps into retirement, he plans to dedicate more time to his ministry and to his four daughters. “I need to create time for my children and also devote more time to the service of God. So that’s the reason for my decision,” he shared.

Reflecting on his time with Hana, Amos expressed appreciation for the opportunity and the way he was treated. “I appreciate the company for the opportunity given to me to work here. It’s not all the time I see a company appreciating their workers. Hana has proven that to me.”

IRS Maryland celebrated Officer Amos and his career with a retirement ceremony alongside his colleagues—an occasion filled with appreciation and well wishes for what comes next.

As he transitions into this next chapter, we thank Officer Amos for 24 years of service and wish him continued strength, health, and fulfillment in his faith, and his family.
